Today I continued working from yesterday on the project pictured above. I traced out an immense number of those "scale" shapes on the back of a leather hide. After tracing, I began cutting each one out. Needless to say, this a time-consuming task! In the end these microscopic pieces are going to be a large part of a fashion garment. Amazing how so much can go into a single piece of fashion!
